X Factor hopeful, Austin from Essex sang a superb rendition of the Boyz 2 Men song "End of the Road" at his audition for the popular ITV singing contest.
The X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue granted 21 year Austin the much sought after 4 yes votes which propelled the young star through to the boot camp stage of the competition.
Austin, who loves music has an ambition to play at Wembley Stadium and says he would love to see his album on the shelves in the shops.
Cheryl Cole commented at his audition "you've got a really soulful voice, we haven't heard the best of you yet ".
Simon Cowell added "I like you passion, this competition needs someone like you".
At boot camp Austin sang "Valarie" by Mark Ronson, which earned him some more very positive comments from the x factor panel of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.
04.10.08 update Austin Drage has now made it through to the judges houses stage of the competition and will be mentored by the legendary Simon Cowell.
13.10.08 update Austin has successfully got through the first of the live television shows and remains a serious contender for this years X Factor Final!
